The S2s were creating their own pinhole cameras which cannot take pictures but can project images.
The pupils used a metal tube and some card to make the camera. They were also able to change the focus of their cameras by moving the lens further away from the light source. The reason to change the focus was so that it suited the light atmosphere in the room, so that if the light was too bright it wouldn’t blind you.
The class was extremely focused but they were also growing with intrigue. Several pupils said they were very interested in how they were able to make a camera out of so few materials.
The lights went out and their cameras began to work. It was a really enjoyable activity and all the pupils were really happy when their cameras worked.
