‘Treasure Hunt’ was taking place with Mr Igoe and Mr Turk in Pittencrieff Park. They saw many different historical places, such as the Glen Pavillion, Andrew Carnegie’s birth place and St Margret’s Cave.
All the pupils enjoyed their hunt. Some pupils liked wandering around the glen, seeing the wildlife and getting out of school.
We asked them a few questions. The pupils said,
“I would do it again.”
“We wouldn’t change anything.”
“I liked seeing the birds and squirrels.”
We also interviewed Mr Turk.
“They learned new things about the historical places they visited.”
Another teacher said, “If there was a fence or something they would go through it instead of taking the path.”
